What is therapy like?
Therapy for each individual is unique to each individual depending upon the desired goals. Therapy sessions are generally 45-minutes long and occur either weekly or bi-weekly. Therapy can be short-term, focusing on a specific issue, or long-term, addressing complex symptoms. For therapy to be most effective I ask that you be a willing participate and open to integrating what is discussed in session into your daily life.
What can I expect from the first session?
Many people are nervous and unsure about therapy. My first priority is to make sure that you are comfortable. You are welcome to provide feedback, share information that you are comfortable sharing, and determine if we are a good fit for your therapy needs.
